Environmental sustainability

LaserJob has always been actively committed to climate protection and focuses on sustainable solutions along the entire value chain.

Thus, our company building, constructed in 2008, meets the highest standards of energy efficiency and forms the foundation of our environmentally friendly corporate philosophy.

We consistently rely on the most modern and energy-efficient technologies in our production. For example, lamp-pumped lasers were promptly replaced by energy-saving fibre lasers as soon as the relevant technologies became available. All other production equipment, such as compressors, is also selected and operated with energy efficiency in mind.

Energy supply

We rely exclusively on renewable energies to power our production. To this end, the roof of our company building has been equipped with a photovoltaic system that covers around a third of our electricity requirements. We purchase the remaining electricity as certified green electricity from the Fürstenfeldbruck municipal utility company. No other energy sources are required for production. Since 2017, we have also been gradually converting our vehicle fleet to electric vehicles.

Carbon neutrality

Furthermore, we already pay attention to our suppliers' commitment to climate protection and sustainability when selecting them. Our goal is to achieve complete carbon neutrality by 2030 – including our vehicle fleet and supply chain.

ISO 900:14001

LaserJob is ISO 14001 certified and is therefore committed to a continuous improvement process in terms of environmental and climate protection. For us, sustainable business management are not a trend, but a matter of course for a future worth living.

Social commitment

Taking responsibility is more than just a phrase for us – it is part of our corporate culture. Since 1997, we have regularly supported humanitarian organisations such as UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, the Bavarian Red Cross – Fürstenfeldbruck District Water Rescue Service and the German Children's Cancer Foundation with donations.

In addition, since 2021 we have also been specifically committed to education and promoting young talent: we support various student engineering and motorsport projects, including BRS Motorsport e.V. (Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences), TU Darmstadt Racing Team e.V., TUfast e.V. Garching, Auxspace e.V. and the Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e.V.

Regional aid is also a particular concern of ours. That is why we support the association ‘Krebskranken Kindern helfen im Landkreis Fürstenfeldbruck e.V.’ (Helping Children with Cancer in the Fürstenfeldbruck District) with donations in kind, thereby helping affected families in our home region.
