Tensioning system LJ 745 – durable and zero maintenance

The patented LJ 745 quick-tensioning system offers a stable design and a high clamping force of over 40 N/cm, even with material thicknesses as low as 30 µm. An integrated stiffening frame protects against damage and makes replacing stencils easy. Stencils can be stored in an ESD-compliant and space-saving manner (up to 150 pieces on 0.7 m²).

The quick tensioning station

The LJ 745 tensioning system consists of 3 functional elements:

Base station with pneumatic clamping devices for stencil change
Tensioning frame for holding the template
Stencils with stiffening frames
optional lighting unit for stencil inspection

For changing templates, simply insert the tensioning frame into the base station. The two-hand operation on the front allows for easy and safe handling. The base station complies with all current safety regulations of the employers' liability insurance association.

The stencil

A square stainless steel sheet with high tensile strength forms the basis for the solder paste printing stencil.

Welded sheet metal clamps around the circumference transfer the tensile forces from the leaf springs of the tensioning frame to the template sheet, tightening it evenly and firmly.

The tension frame

All around a stable, square aluminum frame are leaf spring assemblies with a cranked side that engage with the sheet metal clamps of the stencil. The leaf springs on the outside of the frame ensure uniform and widespread tensile stress of over 40 N/cm. The tension is comparable to that of a template firmly glued to the frame.

All components of the tensioning frame are rustproof and therefore washable. The leaf springs are wear-free and durable. The tensioning frame is available in sizes 584 x 584 mm and 736 x 736 mm.

Changing the stencil

Place a tensioning frame with a clamped stencil into the base station. Then, activate the pneumatically operated pressure bars to release the pressure template. The template can now be removed from the frame. Finally, place another template on the frame and clamp it in place → done!

The filing cabinet

The archive cabinet offers the possibility of storing up to 100 stencils with a frame size of 736 x 736 mm and up to 150 stencils with a frame size of 584 x 584 mm on a floor space of approx. 0.7 m². The stencils can be stored directly in the cabinet thanks to the welded hooks on the blanks. Stencils are simply inserted into a rail system and hang freely in the cabinet. A numbering system allows each stencil to be quickly and easily assigned. No bags or boxes are required for storing the stencils.

An optional lighting unit can be integrated into the quick-release station to facilitate inspection of the stencil or apertures. The lighting unit consists of maintenance-free LEDs with a particularly high lumen output, enabling even the smallest apertures to be inspected reliably.
